Tulip Dreaming

We're workin'em Bill :jump:

This one was processed in a "higher key". Selective gaussian blur and sharpening along with some TK luminosity dodge burn, curves, levels and a little orton effect. This is also a crop of a slightly wide angle shot for a change of pace.

Canon 5D MkII 16-35mm @33mm f16

I am a really big fan of this one, Bob! A different take on a common subject! The sharpness of the center really stands out from the dreamy surroundings and the colors are nicely balanced. Well done!

Bob,
I like everything here, from central point of focus to the softness and colors of the petals. :toast:

I love the feeling of this photograph. Higher key really works here, especially with the sharp stamen. Nicely processed, too, Bob!

Hi Bob! This is an interesting image. I like how the near white background and your PP effects highlight the stamens in the center. I love the bright colors of the pedals and detail in the center. Very creative and very well processed!

Awesome capture and processing job. One of the most inventive . . . and beautiful . . . tulip shots that I can recall.

Way, way cool. Love your selective use of the orton effect, keeping the center nice and sharp. I'm going to have to try that. :toast: :toast:
