Ian: Stack and cram are rarely combined but this is excellent. The cram here is subtle and really well executed IMO. I like the effect it produces and I like the DOF on the rest of the image. Top notch stack, really good photography. >=))>

Beautiful Ian...I don't think I would have even thought to stack and cram. The colors are outstanding and I agree with Bill about the DOF being perfect in the center.

Ian ..has seen the image earlier today ..and decided with write the comment in the evening when I am back home...

How often does one see a bunch of stamen and stigma all in focus ...this is an image one does not see that often ..well done ...and a nice frame

I don't know what cramming is (and haven't yet looked it up), but this is really, really beautiful. The colors and textures, including the color and texture of the petals, are wonderful.

Hi Ian! Beautiful shot. The colors, lighting and DOF are outstanding. The slight cramming adds a nice but subtle effect. Good job with the stacking too - the details are excellent. I also like your choice for the POF. Excellent work!

Beautiful image. Personally, I wish the stamen (?) did not vanish on the left, but that's just a personal issue with cramming. Overall, a beautiful, extremely well executed image.
