Hi All :wavey:
This is my latest piece of textured art, numerouse layers and masks all of different blending styles and opacities.

As always looking for critique on my images, feel free to criticise I am always genuinely interested in other persons opinions, after all this is the only way we improve.

Thanks in advance

Hi Shaun, the layers and textures work well with this image but my eye is drawn to the flower in the forefront to the right and I would like my eye to stay with the main flower and stem. I wonder how this image would look without the flower in the lower right. The colors are great but it's a bit too busy for my taste. But that's just my observation. Thanks for posting. Sounds like your winter is much like ours is here in the states. Can't wait for spring.

NIce columbine shot and I like your enhancements. I do wish the lower flower was in sharper focus. Since this is photo art, do you have another shot with it in focus? If so I would try cloning an in-focus flower and placing it on the nice curved stem.

I like the color palette and the background textures work well...but it would be better if that FG flower were in focus as per the other comments.

Soft and delicate Shaun with the right amount of texturing IMHO.

I think this looks very nice. I especially like the somewhat muted color and texture. I do find the copyright info to be very distracting however.

The stem with the open flower and buds is magnificent, and the texture works beautifully. Love the position of the rlc flower and the arch of the stem that echoes that of the main subject; that it is oof is a detraction, though.

Oh, another attractive texture image with a large part of the subject noticably out of focus. This is a lovely treatment with a pleasing color pallette, but the OOF foreground just does not seem to be compatible with the sharply detailed texture.
