I end my Himalayan wildflower series with an nostalgia image (atleast for me), more of an invitation to all fellow floral photographers to what i think is a heaven on earth (esp. to floral photographers)
'Valley of Flowers' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valley_of_Flowers_National_Park)

pls feel free to know more about the place or if u need any help in getting there

Krunal:
Great florascape image. The curving stalk leaning into the picture and pointing towards the valley is great. What wonderful lush greenery along the sides.

I have really enjoyed your Himalayan series and it is such a treat to see flowers I have not seen before and probably not likely to see on site as I get altitude sickness above 3500m. :frown:

I've enjoyed the series too Krunal. I'd love to see this part of the world at some point. This image is particularly appealing to me. I like the contrast between the rocks and the flora as well as the inviting path leading to a vanishing point in the distance. On my monitor the center white in the sky looks over exposed to me but it may just be my monitor. Otherwise a beautiful scene and image.

Very beautiful. I can feel the nostalgia even though I have never been there.

Beautiful, evocative scene, Krunal. It does beckon the soul.

This has been a great series.

In this image, the composition is extremely effective.

Really does look like a beautiful valley . . . I like the way the path leads the viewer into the scene. That, plus the blooming flowers make this a very nice image. I agree with Pat about the sky perhaps being a bit too bright in part.
