Lake Louise from the top

This image was taken from near the top of the valley of six glaciers. It is the lake from the other end. This trail was probably one of the most awe inspiring trails I have ever hiked.

Richard, quite a dramatic perspective here. I'd like to move it over to the Man and Nature gallery though, considering the presence of buildings and ski trails.

Nice image, I like the way the moutains frame the side of the photograph. The bottom right might be a tad distracting, nothing a small crop wouldn't fix if needed.

Its great to see a different perspective from this oft photographed lake. I was expecting the turquoise water that one usually sees in photos of Lake Louise but the light and conditions here give this a more moody feeling to it. I bet this would work well as a B&W too. Cool shot! :toast:

What a wonderful perspective, I can see why this would be an awsome trail, way to go.
