Where's Waldo (Finch)?

House Finch (Carpodacus mexicanus)

In mid November, when this shot was taken, there were plenty of these little birds around, all gorging themselves on seeds.

I like this "where's Waldo" image. I know it's busy….it's really, really busy.....

All comments very welcome.

Love the two in sharp focus Steve. Even caught the bird right eating some seed as well..Cool.
On occasion a really, really busy BG is a good thing.
Sometimes we need to just step back and see a natural setting for what it is..
Hey, it's where they live
Well done :toast:

A fun capture, Steve.

I agree with Howard; sometimes there is too much emphasis on uncluttered, perfect backgrounds. The panoramic comp works really well here.

I like this shto Steve. Nice use of pano comp. Perch is nice and sharp with OOF vege in BG all working together to show the habitat these birds were using. Both birds are sharp. Very nice.

Steve,
I do like this image. The busy setting reminds me the habitat where I meet the small birds.
Very nice pano comp. :toast:

Steve,

I like the habitat, I like that you got the two birds in one shot, I like the beautiful natural colors and the behavior shown.
