Rocky Point Coast + REPOST

Although the Big Sur Coastline image that I posted last week was color, most of my work from this trip is B&W. A heavily clouded, gloomy morning lightened up just enough to get some definition on the rocks. C&C appreciated.

A nice intimate study of the coast. The conversion is perfect. I mostly like the composition my only reservation being that big slab of rock in the middle that takes up a lot of the frame but IMO the least interesting element.

That water texture is just perfect Barry. I like the rock, but the water is so nice that I think Kah is correct in that the portions seem a bit off. A squarish crop of the top would even be a consideration.

I'm another who's gonna have to go ahead and agree with Kah. But the scene is really nice and overall well presented and well shot.

I cant argue with Kah...the top portion is amazing, great water texture. I just wonder if it could have been composed a bit to the left, so the flow isnt all on the rhs... I look forward to more stuff from he trip!

The consensus seems to be a 4 x 5 crop from the bottom. I must admit that I never considered that but I can definitely see it now. Here's re-post with crop - I do like it better Thanks for the suggestion.

(Stan, if I had moved left I would have fallen 10' off the rocks!)
