Since I got the Mk IV, I've hardly used the 2.0X TC (series II), but decided to try it again the other day.

1D MkIV, 500mm + 2.0X, 1/2500 @ f10, ISO800, tripod, morning light.

Thanks for looking; your comments always appreciated.

KC, I would say it paid off using the 2.0X again, great shot.

Looks great to me KC. If it did not know better I would say these are three mounted specimens in a museum display. Really great poses by all bird. Nicely done.

Really like the varying poses on that elevated perch Kwan. Excellent composition and I like the collective angles of the long bills of all three birds.

KC,

Amazing shot! 3 unpaided models providing perfect head angles. Beautiful all the way around.

Like how all three are sharp and I like the position of the birds. Really like the outstretched wings on the right.

Getting them all sharp seems impossible for me but now I know it can be done. Nice job KC!

Great image with eye contact in all three birds. They are all well posed with pleasing relative positions.

KC, interesting perch for this trio. Nicely done. I find myself using my 2X on a large percentage of my avian images with my Four-thirds setup.
