PLEASE VIEW IT LARGER, THANKS

The flank of a cliff nearby the southern tip of Isola del Giglio in Tuscany, Italy. This is really an amazing rock formation that I would have loved to explore for much longer, although is very hard to get closer as it's almost vertical and quite slippery. Unfortunately I stayed there only for a couple of hours, but I will certainly get back as soon as I can, because I believe these wind-carved rocks could provide material for a book, or even two

The original file is stitched from 13 verticals. I'm posting here a tryptich presentation, as I think it's a kind of display that goes very well with such subject. However, since I feel that even the larger included image is too small to fully appreciate the details, I will also attach here below each single panel as a separate file.

Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time.

Hi Paolo. I love rocks we have some cliffs in Durness made of pink granite which are just stunning to look at and to photograph. The range of colours in these especially the seams are fabulous. It does indeed make a very pleasing Tryptich.

Ahah, Tony, I was expecting some kind of reaction from you on this one. I'm pleased you like it and yes, I do believe you could really spend a lifetime here and never run out of good images. Too bad this is not quite in my backyard - 6 hours driving and 1.5 hour more with the ferry to get there. But I will certainly get back, if you ever wish to join...

Thanks Ian too for your comment, I appreciate that.

Those rocks are amazing. At first glance, the dark area along the bottom was not very attractive -- BUT then I noticed how the amazing colors flow into the dark regions, and how much they resemble colorful stars against a brilliant night sky with a colorful rendition of the milky way. Now, the dark areas are my favorite. Your idea for a triptych is excellent. I bet this makes a great print.

Tremendous Paolo!! I'm glad Tony liked this, because it could easily be one of Tony's (that's a high compliment BTW). The colors in this are downright mindblowing and the presentation is equally as impressive. I could just get lost in this. One of your best IMO.

Stunning, Paolo. Each panel stands well on its own in my opinion, and as a triptych is phenomenal. Superb work.

The tryptich fits this scene very well. Although each almost stands on it's own, it takes it to another level with all of them presented together. Fine work Paolo!

Really nice! Just amazing details inhere, as well as the colors. While it certainly doesn't bother me, I find the color maybe a little to heavy. I like it very much as presented though too.

This is probably my favorite image(s) that I've seen from you in several months Paolo. I am on an uncalibrated monitor so I can't tell for sure, but the blues look a bit oversaturated for my tastes. Anyways, I think this is extremely strong and quite beautiful. The presentation really works and well and all three images are well balanced and work cohesively together. :toast:

Fascinating rock! Those patterns and colors are just beautiful, and have enough depth to keep me looking for a long time. I do think the cyans are a bit over saturated.

This triptych is awesome, and the colors remind me of the bright colors seen on tropical animals-unreal.

Very special! The colors, textures and shapes are all wonderful. I also think the cyans are just a bit strong, but it all works regardless. Reminds me of TK's "Momo's Brain" image. :toast:

This works completely as a triptych. An excellent study of the form, texture and colours of the rock formations, which by the way are very similar to what I've seen on the east coast of Tasmania.

Masterful as always Paolo. Thanks for posting both the detail and the wider view, fascinating. (While the color does seem over the top, I like it that way and figured it was an artistic decision on your part.)

holy cow, Paolo. This is incredible - I love rock formation like these and I hope I had rocks like these in my area. The blue/brown combo and the patterns are both mesmerizing. Do you offer prints in tryptich like these? in 3 separate frames or on a single frame with white borders between?

This has a wonderful flow and arrangement of color to it. I can see why you were wanting to explore this more... looks like a fascinating subject to shoot. While I like the tryptich and think it works well, I wonder if the flow would be enhanced if this was just one long uninterrupted pano? Beautiful work either way!

Thanks all again for the great commentary on this one, that's highly appreciated.
Arnab, yes, I do offer prints in tryptichs, and I have many in my portfolio. For this case in particular, the ideal display for me would be gallery wrap canvas with frme thickness of 1.5", 30x30 inches each panel. Interested?
