Impressive rack on this bull. I like his position coming up over the ridge. Also like the FG and BG showing off the habitat. I'm seeing a pretty strong bluish cast on the nose and BG logs (on my admittedly uncalibrated monitor). I'm using PSE 3 which is really basic but lowering the saturation and tweaking the lightness slider for blue works for me. If mine, I might also take a touch off the left side (as viewed) to just left of the stump to get him off center. I do like the Fall feel of this one and can't wait to get out soon and get me some too.

Nice photo, but I would suggest a tighter crop, IMHO there is too much in the BG that distracts, unless you are going for a habitat shot. Also, there seems to be a magenta cast to the image, which I feel is distracting. I like the photo, thanks for sharing.

Nice shot. I also see a cool bluish cast to the picture. I didn't even need the caption to recognize this picture was taken on the Madison in YNP. I sure would like to be there right about now.

I like the feel of this Jack, especially the inclusion of the habitat, the DOF and the diagonal line of the front hill slope. I do agree with the cast mentioned though, but that's an easy fix. What distracts me a little is the bright water in the BG, which you can possibly tone down a bit. The subject is a bit too much centered here also IMO, cropping a bit off the left could sort that though. Finally I am left wondering if it would have been a plus if the stag would have been a bit further up the hill, showing the legs.

Thanks for the comments! I have removed the blue[hopefully][can't see it] and recut the picture. Hope that this is what everyone suggests. Vincent, the picture of the bull with the legs showing is not as good as this one because the expression on the bulls face is not good.

The repost looks a lot better Jack, I just wish you had not cropped off the right hand side.

Nice job on the repost Jack. BG logs and ground look much more natural.

The color of the repost is much better! I agree with Vincent regarding not cropping from right. Great bull!
