Back Into The Dark

I was walking by a small pond and got a glimpse of this guy lurking around. I also took some really good shots of his "friend" sunning on a log. I'll post one of him later.

I painted and smudged around this guy to put the emphasis on him...not perfect...But, for now, it will have to do....
Time to move on to another photo.

I love the comp you've captured here, but the eyeball being out of focus is a big drawback.

What I like about this lucy is the fact that this snake is trying to hide and the sinister feel of the image. However, what detracts from my appreciation of this is the fact that the eye is OOF and the highlights on the stick are blown out. I am looking forward to seeing images of his friend. :wink:
