Nice look back that put some good illumination on the face. A little tight in the frame for me, I'd like to see a bit more space if you have it, specifically in front of the bear. Morning shot?

Hi Bruce and welcome to NPN. I like how you have rendered the bear here. The detail on the wet fur is excellent and the dappled lighting also makes this very attractive. What I find less appealing about this is the bright green habitat and the OOF grasses crossing its rear end. Perhaps toning down the brightness a bit could salvage that habitat.

Hi Bruce,
I agree with the last comment that you should do something about the bright green. Parts of the fur looks a bit over- or underexposed. Maybe try experimenting with the Shadow/Highlight adjustments in Photoshop. Great shot overall, I especially like how the heads of the grass in the background give a sense of the habitat.

You managed to salvage a decent shot of a bear in very difficult lighting conditions. I agree with the specifics of the other comments.
