I stopped to take a break while hiking with the dogs on Thompson Pass and was shooting some landscapes of the view when Eli decided to step into the picture. (Brightened it up a little and re-posted)

Gary, what a great place for you to be hiking with your dogs. The scene is very beautiful and well captured, but the inclusion of Eli really makes the image for me. His presence makes me think of the great time you and the dogs must have been having.

It's a beautiful scene. The inclusion of the dog gives it character.

Gary, nice work. Eli's presence adds another dimension to this awesome landscape. I like the inclusion of the burnt umber color in the fg, also.

This is lovely, Gary, and Eli is adorable. I love it when you can get up on the rocky stuff, out of the everlasting blasted bushes!!
I'm still tryin' to figure out exactly where this is, since I'm not that familiar with the pass there, and besides, I've only been through there in summer a couple of times; it looks a little different in snow......
Great image!

Thanks, Jenny. This is up on the Western-most ridge on the North side of the highway and the pipeline. It's roughly half way between Worthington Glacier and the Thompson Pass Maintenance camp.
