Lifting fog

We've had rather too much fog up here this summer, depriving us of our small allocation of sunshine, but sometimes it serves a purpose.
This old schooner is moored in Port Townsend Bay.

There is just something inherently attractive about the shape of an old schooner. As they say, the don't make 'em like that any more. The fog gives this an ethereal felling, but I bet you could have made a successful picture under different conditions too.

The line of cut off piles leads directly to the old ship. nicely composed.
