This is the very elegant waterfall : "cascade des planches près Arbois" In France ,Jura (39 )

In autumn the color mix is interesting, I went very close to the deepest part to have reach this water color , with a polarizer and ND1000 filter to get the long exposure.

I like the way the composition leads the viewer to the tiered falls in the background. Composing the image as you did is intriguing and thought-provoking and artistically bold. It does indeed live up to a "Dreamscape." The only thing I am undecided about is the brightness of the whites. But taken with my previous comments, I guess the brightness fits the theme. Other things I enjoy in this photo are the line of splash pools and how the water fans out across the water almost imperceptibly, as a feeling rather than something very literal. Thanks for sharing this.

You're lucky there was any water at all! When I was there in October last year, the whole plunge pool was dry and the waterfall was reduced to a meagre spatter...

You've done well to find an original viewpoint on the cascade. In three visits, I've never even considered shooting from this particular spot!

A great shot of a very special place. Love it!

Really well-done, Alexandre. I looked at this earlier this morning on an uncalibrated monitor while having my Tacoma serviced, and thought the whites were a little bright. However, they look fine on the monitor I use for image processing. Since fall is my favorite season, I love the foliage, which compliments the cool water tones so well. I do find myself wanting to see just a bit more on the right side, but I suspect there was some reason you didn't include more. Great work!

Very beautiful. I like the dreamy effect created by the long exposure and the slightly submerged rocks.

Very intriguing shot. The water color is fascinating, and the foreground rocks really anchor the composition.

Terrific photo. I like the sharpness of the cliff face and the softness where the water fans out at the base of the falls. For me the rock in the lower left intrudes too much into the pool and I suggest a crop of the bottom to reduce the mass of the rock.

Great stuff as usual Alexandre. Particularly the background is interesting. I really like the combination of rocks, water and autumn foliage. The fg is creatively handled as well, but the blurr is a tiny bit distracting for me. But I appreciate the creativity!

Very wonderful shot here. The composition is fantastic, as is the color. I don't see anything to improve and like the crop as is.

I like how the blurr creates keeps the pool rocks under water and creates pool depth, in contrast to the sharper travertine of the falls' rock and background. I too would like to see how a crop right above the LR rock would work.
