Ugly Day...

Ugly bird I hate to say. Was walking down this tree lined path along a lake where two eagles hang around. Thought I had kicked them out, then realized it was the other birds, the TVs.

Bad light, and not a great photo... but your help is always welcomed. D-90 at 300mm, ISO-400, 1/250th at f-5.6. Thanks for any help!!

Bill under the conditions thats what ya get. Its a little soft also and that does not help things here. At 250 SS you really need to pan the camera at the same speed as the bird to hope for anything sharp. The comp and BG are good.

Dunno, Bill. Looks a lot like my flight shots... And it's very had to take a flattering shot of a TV.

Hey Bill, nice attemp but the advise noted would help much and we all have lot's a room to learn and grow. I would say the main problem was the sloww ss for a flyer and I assume hh. Keep workin it out it comes along in time
