A nice different angle but I see an artifcat from cloning perhaps just to the left of the birds tail all the way on the bottom (there is a straight vertical line)

They make such great subjects and in this setting I could shoot them every day. Just take care of the cloning artifact already mentioned and this is a winner.

If it were mine, I'd select the bill and use the Shadow/Highlight Tool to bring down the glare off the bill, but that's a minor nit on a fine shot.

Jagdeep, I love the way the background colors go with the kingfisher and I find the angle on the bird in relation to that of the perch to be intriguing - is there a bend in the perch that the bird is standing on? Not a lot of detail in some of the throat whites but they're certainly not hot.

Thanks friends ! As for cloning artifacts, I tend to be careless in processing at times, need to be careful.
Ron, there was no bend but KF was sitting effortlessly.
