Harmonica Player?

I had to laugh at Kurt's reply to Lon's Toothpick Tote'n P dog. I was working on this image at the time at thought a little harmonica music was in order

This is from Katmai NP and is another popular food of the Brown Bears. They will excavate a huge hole in the ground to get to them. At this time of year, the other red meat (salmon) is in town and the pressure is off of them a little. Not much, but a little. They were very busy getting ready for the pending cold.

Canon 20D canon 70-200 2.8 w/ 2.0 ex 1/320th @ 6.3 iso 200.

Thanks for looking.
Comments always welcome.

Hi Neil,

I like this shot. Not only is the pose cute (especially when combined with your caption), but this image demonstrates where an out-of-focus foreground AND background can work well together. I normally find edge-to-edge "bands of focus" (i.e., out-of-focus foreground, in-focus subject, and out-of-focus background) displeasing visually. But in this case your angle is low enough, and the habitat homogenous enough, that there's no issue with focus banding stretching across the frame - your subject is very sharp but everything else is pleasingly soft and non-distracting...

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...
