Tiger cub drinking

This must have been quite the experience. My only curiosity is I would expect more detail on the tongue - the lack thereof could be due to motion blur or a slight overexposure.

Would have loved to see this in large. Cause I've got the feeling that I would heve preferred another DoF. The centre is perfectly clear but just above the eyes to the viewers right ear it start to get unsharp. And I wonder what the spot is on the upper lip left of the toung.
Otherwise in terms of colors and composition I think this is a stunning shot... well done

It's hard to tell at this size, but it looks as though the whiskers on the right side might be suffering a little too much sharpening. They seem to be breaking up a bit on my monitor.

As for the tongue, lack of detail is due to motion blur, as it is shot at 1/200 sec. Tongue, actually moves so fast that you may not get a perfect position, even out of ten frames. And yes, this is Tadoba.

Very nice - love the "faraway" look in its eyes and the pink tongue is great (I suppose Luke is probably right about the detail there, but I didn't notice it until I read his comment, so it obviously didn't bother me). I like how clean the image is (especially the background). I have one very small nit - I did notice the out-of-focus object (shoreline??) in the lower left corner and must admit it distracted me a little. I actually noticed primarily due to the nice pink reflection in the tiger's tongue (as my eye was following the reflection it "bumped into" the blurry zone). The positioning of that out-of-focus corner is unfortunate as cropping it out isn't an option (as you'd also lose part of the tongue's reflection, which you definitely don't want to lose).

But overall a great shot - thanks for sharing it with us...
