Light Delight

One of the great joys of having a garden right outside my door is that I can shoot just about anytime that the light is right and not have to go hunting for subjects. I also like to shoot at sunrise especially this time of year because of the sun angle at dawn. Yesterday morning found the skies cloudy and pretty thick so I scrapped my planned photo shoot and fixed breakfast. I was happily munching away when all of a sudden some sunlight started to filter in through the front door. The clouds were breaking up and blowing apart and some pretty sweet light started playing on some of our day lilies and this lone osteospermum bud. Breakfast got cold but I came away with this between the breezes. Oh well, that's what microwaves are for. All comments welcome. >=))>

Pay attention! A spider is trying to waste your perfect work beginning to weave its web in the upper petals.
Cheers.

This is really nice. I love the color and the details. The muted BG works well too.
