Coral on Red Sand

Close up detail of the sand/rocks/coral at the Red Sand Beach in Hana, Maui. I'm undecided about this photo, so I'm interested to hear if you like it. All comments/critiques are appreciated.

Nikon D80, Nikkor 50mm 1.8 lens, 1/3 sec at f/16, ISO 100, polarizer.

beautiful! I like these scenes a lot. that white piece of coral on top of the red/black stones is awsome, it really anchor´s my eyes. nice work!!

Nicely done Scott. I like the irony in this shot - the heart shaped rock in the lower right is the only thing in this shot that isn't red! Very well-balanced comp, the colors are really nice too. A keeper in my opinion.

I think it is definitely a keeper Scott. Looking at the smaller version I was undecided, but when you open up the larger version and can see all the detail in the rocks it really makes it pop, nicely seen.

Red sand beach? Very cool. Not seen something like this. The comp feels a bit empty to me like I'm looking for something else to make the red even more compelling.
