You can't always choose the BG and this one doesn't bother me. I think an f stop of 6.3 or 5.6 might have given you a more blurred BG and faster shutter speed. Just a thought. I like the feather detail, lighting and pose. Nice one.

Love this species of sparrow, wish I had a photo of one. Nice pose you captured Rowdy. Good and sharp, I do agree with less dof.
