First of all, thank you to for the responses to my last post. This is the sequel to that post, taken on the same morning about 100 feet from the previous one, hence the same 400 ISO mistake  I think it's pretty obvious what attracted me to this scene - I liked the color and arrangement of the plants. Please view LARGER version for better details.

D2X w/ 70-200 VR @ 122mm
1/8 sec. @ f/11 - MLU and mc-30 remote release
400 ISO
Singh Ray Circ. Polarizer
Tripod
Capture One 4, CS4, TK's Lum. & Sat. Masks, Marc's web sharpening

Critiques, suggestions, and comments always welcomed and greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

The underlying leaves of this image make the surface leaves really stand out. The leaves fit well together. Great job.

Bill, loved the previous fern image but will have to say this is really incredible. The color and textures, and the perfect composition with that leaf make this superb.

Perfect arrangement Bill. So clear and efficient. I like such scenes a lot, and they are not so easy. I have far too less images of that sort that I like and - I attempt them often.

Great collection of colors and sharp detail as well. I tried similair shots this past fall but couldn't quite get what I was after. What I was after is what you managed to capture here, well done.

Another stellar comp! Love the two leaves facing each other with the fern diagonally intersecting both. Great shot!

Excellent eye Bill, the three larger leaves really set this apart.

The colors are fantastic as well as your composition. The dominant element of the fern being diagonal was a perfect choice.

This is very beautiful Bill. You should try selling this. I think a large print would really appeal to a lot of people.
