Sorry guys for not posting lately, but work has kept me really busy. I went recently to Carrizo Plain to enjoy the colorful display of colors there. I spent a couple hours hiking around, with the clouds announcing rain soon (that same night and next day).

Comments & Critiques for improvement always appreciated

Ahh, this is a stunner, Ed. Very nice shot! Those splotches of color on the distant hillsides are really really cool. Overall I think the image would benefit from being about 1/4-1/2 a stop brighter.

What a spectacular display of wildflowers. Gorgeous image with the incredible color, and those diagonal lines coursing across the frame. Superb.

Spectacular, Edward! I hope to get to the Carrizo Plain next week.
I hope that it's not past peak by then or that we've had some recent
weather that might have knocked the petals off.

Hi Edward, nice to see you posting. This is excellent! See, we have painted hills here in California too. This is beautiful, and not your typical wildflower looking scene.

That is one awesome display of flowers. The sky adds a nice touch of drama. Well composed. I also wouldn't mind seeing this a touch brighter, but it works well as is.

Excellent, Ed. What a fantastic show. Your comp and light make are just perfect to show the extent of it. Great to know the mask were useful.

Sweet shot Edward! You really had a great find here. Looks like you did some hill climbing to get this comp. Lovely flower carpeting on the hills.

Hi Ed, good to see a post from you. This is excellent, the splashes of color on the back hills really add to it here.

I've never been to the Carrizo Plains, but it is on my list to hit someday. I just hope the trip would bring me an image like this! Nice capture...

Excellent work Edward. The colors, lines, and shapes all work out really well here. Your sky looks very well processed too. My only suggestion would be to clone out the half cut off daisy? in the LRC. I hope this helps. Michael
