Catoptrophorus semipalmatus

Another one from Sanibel Island. I wish I had left myself a little more room in front. I had to crop to 4:5 ratio to get the Willet off center.

7D, 500mm f4L IS +1.4 tc
1/1250, f11.0, ISO 200
Partial Metering, Exp. Comp. -1/3

Matt, I like both the pose and comp a lot. I agree it might be a bit dark.

I like this a lot Matt. Great comp and sharpness. The low angle always makes the difference to me. Well done. It may be a bit dark, but I would have to see it a bit brighter to tell.

The smaller version doesn't do justice to the detail seen in the larger version. Very nice capture Matt.

The large version is very nice. A touch more room would be nice but isn't essential.
