This is a beautiful shot, Morris. I really like the reflected light in the frozen river. It's a subtle element, but I think it adds a lot.

What a great contrast between the warm cloud colors and cold earth tones... and wonderfully tied together with the stream reflections. I do have one serious complaint though.... you didn't provide us with a larger view so we could enjoy this even more. Happy New Year, Morris

Nice. This might my favorite comp yet that you've posted from this location Morris. That sky is awesome. The shadow areas are looking much better in detail, contrast and color too!

Happy New Year to you as well Morris. A beautiful and fitting image to close - or open the new year. I'm with others in that I really like the reflected light on the stream below. I think that makes the image; well at least brings some life to the non-sky part of the image. Oh, and great sky too. Nice job with the overall capture and handling of the exposure.
