Origami on Ice

The designs of winter are second to none. When the ice begins to freeze it yields some interesting features. The iced snow shapes reminded me of origami and I waited until post sunset to soak up the light reflecting on the ice. A magical season winter can be if you let your eyes absorb the finer things.

Thanks for your time and comments

Beautiful Anthony. The hoar frost with the ice patterns would have been stunning by itself, but the added 'sweet' light takes this over the top.

Stellar shot. I really do enjoy the color in this, but it would also make a terrific B&W.

I should have gone out after something like this earlier today. High winds in the forecast for tonight will probably do a fair amount of damage to the crystals that have been building over the last week. This is a beautiful and inspiring photo. Well done.
