Hi guys

I'm coming back with this photograph taken at french valley, Torres del Paine Nat Park, one April morning after a huge nightly rain. It was very hard to get one correct exposure but with 2 GND at the same time and a little bit process work I got it.

I really like the light over the running water

Focal Lenght 20mm
ISO 100
f/16
Canon EOS 5D
Canon EF 17-40 f/4L USM
Polarizer
2 GDN Filters
Tripod

WOW, spectacular scenery, Roberto... a fresh take on Torres del paine... I like the snow blowing in the wind on the mountaintop...

Like how the stream goes diagonally across the field. The lighting on the mountain is fantastic. Only minor nit is the uneven sky color, artifact of the filters?

Great comp and I love the snow blowing off the top of the mountain. I know where it's coming from but the water is too blue for my taste though. Would love to see it with the blue toned down a bit. Nice job.

Beautiful mountain scene, and a freshing one from Torres. Perhaps a little cyan on the bottom half (I realize the glacial runoff is usually a weird blue, but the white water highlights seem a bit over the top for me). Anyways, great image!

My first thought was that the water looks too cyan. My second thought was, yeah, but it looks good contrasting with the warmer colored mountains. This gets better the longer I look.

This is spectacular Roberto. Only nit for me is the aforementioned uneven sky tone, and thats very minor. Gotta get to Patagonia some day!

This is wonderful! I love the waterfall at the far end! My only nit is that the water has a very strong blue cast. Fix that and I think you will have a real winner. :toast:

The subject is amazing, im just not sure about the comp. I kind of wish you had moved up a few hundred meters to try ot get more of the spectacular mountain, which is half hidden here by the trees. The stream makes a nice subject, and i like the water exposure you got. The cyan does seema bit much--as Floris mentioned glacial streems often get pretty green-blue, but you wouldnt expect to see that much cyan in the highlites. Very pretty shot, despite the nits! :wavey:

Hi Roberto,
I do agree with the water caste....to cyan?.....even if it is glacier fed......super comp and lines!
