I love shots like this. It's really neat how those trees grow in the water like that. Nice wave action and silhouetted tree. Nicely done and special

Nice wave action and light. Unusual to see trees out in the water make the image interesting.

How do you end up with all those trees in the water down there? I've never seen one. Must be some really large scale coastal errosion going on. Hurricanes? I like the simple, well balanced nature of this one.

Light's pretty special, and so is the motion of the water. I'd be very hard pressed to come up with an image this good if I were near water.

Pretty neat image, Richard, and dynamic composition with the incoming water in the FG. I particularly like how you dealt with what seems to be a difficult exposure.

Simple and effective image Richard. The motion of the water does add a little something extra to the photo.

You're wrong Richard. This is indeed special to me. I would love to visit here and might at next year's PSA Conference. Delightful color and light and the subject trees in the water are something I've never seen. Also like the shutter speed used to smooth the water. Well done!

Richard,

Great combination of stillness and motion. Great light and mood too. I'd say a wonderful take-away for a first visit to this spot. I really like the barren, seemingly lifeless branches against the motion of life in the moving surf. Well done.

Nothing special my arse, Richard. This is outstanding. I may feel that way because I'm oddly attracted to dead trees and these are beautiful specimens. The wave action in FG nicely leads my eye into the trees, too.
