Letchworth Falls + Repost

Letchworth State Park, NY. It was early morning and I had the falls all to myself - a rare thing during the fall. I couldn't fit the entire falls without including that piece of land in the lower right corner. Thoughts on that?

All comments and critiques welcomed. Thanks

Personally I prefer the B&W but thought I'd include the color version to hear your opinions.

A beautiful capture, and the mist/fog adds a great air of mystery to the image. Well done Elliot. I definitely prefer the B&W version.

very nice, Elliot. Beautiful falls and I like that you kept the streambed level. B&W works well with this image.

I like both versions. My only thought would be to maybe increase mid-tone contrast a bit in the B&W version as it seems a little heavy in the grays.

The fog really creates a nice atmosphere. I'm leaning towards the b&w. I'm not sure if the lower right piece of land adds much to the composition, but its not am image killer

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Tony, i've included a repost with higher contrast in the falls. Thanks for pointing that out.

I prefer the misty feel of the B&W version.

very nice elliot. I´ll go with the last post, more contrasts and the whites just pop out more strongly. great water flow and mood. fine image.

Definitely the B&W for me, Elliot. The rising fog lends a wonderful mood to the scene IMO. Beautifully done.
