Shooting leaves in a little brook near my home was a very easy and pleasant activity. The dancing highlights and shadows made me wish my camera shot video. The only hard part was choosing which image to present. For post-processing, I never made any changes to color or saturation, but I tried several levels adjustments and it was hard to make any changes that made these images look bad -- just different takes on the theme. I went with the one that most closely matched my memory.

Lo in the ripple effect and the colors - it's a little centered but that doesn't bother me. The only thing I'm not so sure about is the blue/purple reflections in the water... maybe tone down their luminosity?

Wayne,
I love the colour and ripples here. I do wish that the comp was a little more dynamic, maybe a slight rotation to the right to give it more of a diagonal line would spice things up a little. Either way, this is a very nice image and you should be pleased!

Very nice Wayne! I really like the color and the light through the water. I do wish that bubble was not sitting right at the tip of the leaf. Very cool!

This looks like a beautiful little hard bottomed brook with great water quality that set off the leaf beautifully. I enjoyed seeing it.

Composition wise, might be a little more pleasing if the leaf were a little more diagonal, but this is beautiful as posted. I absolutely love the ripple effect and light play. Great work!

Wayne, the dappled lighting and the water ripples really make this image sing. Love the colors and the richness. I agree about the small bubble but that's easily fixed. Delightful shot.
