Wonderful composition, and great colors!! I like the green and the soft-light blue/cyan (thanks Guy) in the water!

I really like the cool cyan tint in the water and the light/dark striping in the background. The foliage and rock balance each other well in the foreground. Great composition.

I like the foregorund tree adding a little color to this. Good job keeping all that water from burning out during the exposure. I have trouble with that with large volume waterfalls. Your images are really making me miss the Southern Appalachians.

What Jerry failed to mention is that these falls are MASSIVE. The tree looks like a small, young one, and thus creates the impression that what's behind it isn't that big. Sure, it looks larger than a close-up detail shot, but you're probably looking at 20' of waterfall here, at least. And this is just a small section of the entire falls, which are probably 150-200' in their entirety.
Great shot, hombre! Bet you're glad you scampered down that hill!

Nicely done. I really like the depth to this image - to me the shot just seems to have a lot of harmony.

Another great image, Jerry. It goes beyond the usual "waterfall shot"
Very clean, simple, and appealing.

This is an impressive waterfall - there is a lot of energy and power evident here.
For me, this composition actually feels unbalanced - the rock in the lower right just doesn't seem to have enough visual weight the counteract the presence of the vibrant green tree. As such, the composition feels a bit 'forced' to me.

Jerry, you are a master! I am always impressed with your work. I like everything about this photograph. The tree really makes the composition. I don't think it is unbalanced at all. The exposure is perfect and the photo has a very calming feeling to it. Very well done!
