From January 17 through January 28, 2005, a silent auction was conducted on the NPN website for the benefit of the earthquake/tsunami victims in Asia. Through the generous contributions of the 2004 Editor’s Picks Awards winners, the Nature Photographers Network and all of those who placed winning bids, we are pleased to announce that our auction raised $2941.85. The proceeds of this auction will be donated to Medecines Sans Frontiers, an orgainzation providing medical relief to the victims.

As of today, all donations have been collected and forwarded to the Medecines Sans Frontiers New York office.

On behalf of all of those who so desparately need our help, our sincere thanks and gratitiude to all of those who made this auction a success!
