Mr. Cool

This squirrel is a persistent raider of my bird feeders. Efforts to scare him away have obviously failed. When I went out to check the feeder, he fled as usual. But only moments later I noticed him cautiously working his way back. So I sat down quietly hoping for a close up and ended up with this image. He seems to be saying "I know you're there. It doesn't matter. As soon as you leave I'll be back in the feeder." And he was right.
