At Washington Park Arboretum, Seattle, WA, on a sweet soft Sunday afternoon in October 2009, I strolled the woods with camera in hand and found these colorful trees in the Japanese Maples in an area of the park called Loderi Valley. I framed the shot to include the variety of color and mostly just leaves.
Nikon D700, 24-70/2.8 hand held. A perfectly calm day.
