In WA State, this lighthouse, Admiralty Head Light, is now part of Fort Casey (decommissioned) and the West Coast Artillery Defense system that was active in WWI and WWII. The light and the fort are well placed at the east end of the Strait of Juan de Fuca at the entrance to Puget Sound.
