Western Blue Flag Iris Bishop, Ca

The previous afternoon I had scouted this location, having found the road name in a photo by Galen Rowell in the Mountain Light gallery. Finding the field filled with blooming Iris I returned at dawn the next day and bumped into the Mountain Light's Photographers Symposium. They actualy helped me compose this photo as I had to move around the field to keep stray photgrapher's out of the frame. Olympus E-500, monopod, Iso 100, f22
