Small Chick Big Mouth

This is the picture of a 3 day old chick of a River Tern. Looking like a ball of fur, this fish can eat a fish the size of my index finger in one gulp. The stomach seems to start where the mouth ends. You can see that the beaks are not even close to each other to provide as wide a mouth as possible.
