Longing for the Stars

This morning I left the trailhead before 4am to hike up to Haynach Lakes via Flattop. After I broke treeline on Flattop I looked back and saw that Longs Peak was silhouetted by a large cloud bank lit by the lights of Boulder. It really made Longs Peak stand out and was so beautiful with the stars shining above her. This is a photo that I knew I wanted to take. It was shot at ISO 1000, F4 at 25 seconds.
