After dark, an elevated road in Shanghai becomes a golden fantasy of diverging curves. This is basically a reshoot of a grabshot from a car window that I took during my first visit to China in 1997, when this interchange was shiny-new. I'm very happy it turned out because I was very ill when I shot it, and braved the November chill to get a medium format capture as I knew the scene was only 1 block from my hotel.
