This cute yellow rat snake was found basking at the edge of the parking lot at Lake Woodruff in central Florida... right by the Port-O-Pody.

For this shot, I'm holding the snake with my left hand and shooting with the right. The yellow in the background is actually a yellow paint-line on the parking lot pavement. The clouds had moved in during this time, so I was forced to use the flash. Not ideal, but it did set the light up for the background to be a bit darker. Give a little, get a little.
