Horned Greebe Podiceps auritus
Found a pair of different greebes swimming and hunting together at the mouth of the Cedar River, at Lake Washington. Greebes live their entire lives on the water or flying ('cept for nesting - often reeds ON water). All Greebes have their legs towards the rear of their bodies, makes them really great swimmers, terrible walkers.
Enjoy!
