The anticipation of seeing this place for the first time was punctuated by a train that came roaring past as we hiked along track side. It was very windy and the falls were very misty so cleaning the lens regularly was a given.

Lucky us, we were also treated to some nice fall colors around the falls as the leaves fell about us onto the rocks and into the river. I have to say having seen so many wonderful shots from here I was quite overwhelmed and intimidated. It's not an easy one to shoot and is so huge on a great curved wall. Though I do think I got a couple of nice shots, I know I'll have to go back to really do this big girl justice.
