I have always been fascinated with nature. I became fascinated with photography in junior high after seeing a friend's camera and darkroom. I begged my parents to help me buy a camera and have since become hooked on nature photography. After playing around with photography through the 80s and early 90s I became serious about it in 1997. My wife is a painter and has been urging me to pursue my dream of one day doing nature photography full-time. I have been selling LightJet prints to individuals and corporations and also taking a "crack" at writing articles to accompany my photographs.
Presently nature photography is my escape from the stress of a career in the software industry. Even if I don't get the shot I intended I was there to see many things I would never have seen watching the Discovery Channel in my warm living room. I hope you enjoy viewing my work as much as I enjoyed creating it.
"Happy Viewing"
