I am a Chicago born artist who received most of her artistic training in Toronto, Ontario. Currently, I split my time between Chicago and Northern North Dakota. The north remains my greatest influence and source of inspiration--and by north, I mean NORTH! Although some of my images come from southern Illinois, the bulk of them are from North Dakota, Manitoba, and the Subarctic territories. I am a gallery artist with Prairie House Gallery (online) of North Dakota, and with Little Blue Stem Gallery (also on line). Art in Canada also lists my work. I am interested in selling my works, both as individual pieces and as stock photos. Please feel free to inquire. -Mairjo
My initial training was in drawing, painting, and etching, but I have branched into photography. My training in painting strongly influences my use of colour.
My works are currently featured in two on-line galleries: www.prairiehousegallery.com, and www.littlebluestemgallery.com To be fair, I am a partial-owner of the first, and the owner of the second gallery. I am also soon-to-be-listed on Art In Canada.
I hope you enjoyed my works. If so, I am always interested in entertaining purchases of both individual images and for stock photos. Just email me, or leave a message for me at one of the galleries listed.
Thanks for viewing!
