A Dragon Unleashed

I was messing around on PS CS3 (my way of learning as I get lost with tutorials) and decided to dabble with the liqufy filter. After restoring and retrying a few times, I got this effect out of it. I then converted to grayscale, posterized and added a crosshatch effect. Then I added a sepia filter and here is my result.
I posted the original image in the fauna gallery last year... This is a Cayman Island blue iguana.
This was done just for the fun of it.
Comments welcome

Here is the original, but please keep in mind that I am not trying to compare the two. Thanks for looking

Rick, You started out with a good image. I realize you're not comparing; I was mostly curious what you accomplished with the filters. I do think you did an excellent job.

Oh boy, a macroholics dream if ever there was one. Beautiful beast and reptiles I just love. Great metallic effects and the original is excellent, but the altered version is in another world all of its own Rick. Just awesome and you can hang this up here any day mate. Amazing what the effects have done and so expertly applied.

All the best Rick and I'm in love with this beast, PHEW !!! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Interesting how it changed the character of the original to more 'dinosaurish' in the filtered version. Here's an idea: use the original colored eye in the montone version
