Ute Pass Morning

Gallery: Photo ArtPosted April 18, 20081,697 views13 comments
Shot at...Ute Pass! When? Sunday Morning of course! I liked the light hitting the distant mountainside, but the shot i took didnt do it justice, so i attempted to create more of the mood. I used several layer copies and composited them with various opacities, then adjusted the color a bit. C&C Welcome! 5D; 70-300.

New improved version now posted in the Photo Art gallery, BTW!

Stan, I really like the diagonal lines. There's a very powerful feeling here of both motion and mist. Very  !

Nice touch and a great feel Stan. The colouring and layers are beautiful mate. Make a nice cover this one  My mind always sees other things Stan (yeah what a surprise that is), so I see a great opportunity to get more perspective and depth out of this by, mirroring in the horizontal and joining it together. That would give a flying into type depth. I see other things as well But I'm too scared to tell you, I'll just live with the dreams

Anyway, very nicely worked to get a surreal landscape. I like it a lot.

All the best Stan, keep them coming, this is great. :toast: :toast:

That's a great suggestion, Danny--i might have even got to it late last night had sleep not interfered! Carol, im glad you noticed the mist affect, it was indeed hazy that morn so i tried to accentuate that. Thanks, folks.
