Ana - Short answer is that there was no goal really. I came across this beautiful scene in a garden nearby. There was't really any goal that I had set myself. The first idea was to capture this at the wider end of my telephoto lens so that it doesn't appear too 2-dimenstional and small aperture (f-20) in this case to get good dof also. On viewing the original image, I found the ground to be too busy, which led me to experiment using variety of techniques such as Orton. Eventually, i struck the above combination to get this impact.
I have tried this for other images as well, but it doesnt always work well and needs variation in the post-processing. Mabe I will post some of these as well in the coming days.
All the best Gaurav, this is beautiful
Danny.
Thank you. And many congrats on the Pick!
