Last December we had a few ice days. The mist was frozen on every tree and shrub, which made the winter a lot more interesting. I found these weeping birches in a local park. I think the contorted stems and branches make a nice composition.

The combination of great subtle color tone with impeccable composition makes a striking image
My only composition nit is the right most birch curve intersecting the right frame. if you showed the complete trunk there to compliment the far left trunk it would be perfect in MHO. Every viewer can learn from this image.

This, is incredibly beautiful. The light, the delicate frost-laden branches and how they fill in all the gaps between the trees is wonderful. I wouldn't change anything - this deserves to be hanging on a wall.... in a gallery. I love this image.

I love this. It has a wondorous feel to it. I just wish you had not let the tree on the right to touch the edge of the frame.
very nice, mystical, moody, fine composition, just great
I missed this earlier in the year, but wow is this an amazing photograph. Congrats on your well deserved annual editors pick!
