Canon EOS 5,Canon 100-400mm L I.S.,Benbo Mk.1 tripod,remote release,mlu,hot-shoe spirit level.

I took this shot shortly after sunset.
The location is Poole Harbour in Dorset,England.
It is one of the largest natural harbours in the world.
It is used in many different ways, such as for:comercial shipping, fishing, leisure and recreational activities including sailing and various other watersports,it is also a haven for wildlife, with the calm and secluded waters attracting many different species of birds.

All comments always welcome and appreciated.

This is absolutely beautiful and completely serene. The sailboat is positioned perfectly to enhance the colors of the water.

Hi Justin,
a faboulus shot, one of your best IMO :toast:
The delicate pastel tones are a pleasure to view (mayble you could have used a ND grad to get the top a bit darker, but I already like it); the "simple" and clean composition creates a sense of quiet and peace.

Great colors and perfect composition for your subject. Really well done and comes across incredibly sharp. Very solid photography in my book.

Justin,
great color and comp! The water is like a mirror! This really holds the viewers eye for quite a while! It also screams "STOCK!" Nice!

Justin,
Very serene, peaceful image. Great use of pastel colors to convey that feeling. I second Emanuele's suggestion of the split ND for the sky.

The ND grad aside, I think this is very pretty. Wonderful colors and good composition. Well done.

Justin what a lovely image, so serene and peaceful. I have only one question. How could such a lovely place be so void of humanity in light such as this? It must have been an intimate moment in time for you. Well done!
